　　CMT公布了八集有限剧集《太阳唱片》（Sun Records）的正式预告片。该剧描述上世纪五十年代孟菲斯「音乐」与「种族」相碰撞，最终诞生了流行音乐史上第一批巨星。这些年轻艺人一夜成名之后，不得不面对剧烈的政治动荡和社会变化。Leslie Grief担任执行制片人，获得奥斯卡奖提名的Roland Joffé执导。故事起始于1956年12月，在孟菲斯太阳唱片的录音棚里，Elvis Presley、Carl Perkins、Jerry Lee Lewis和Johnny Cash第一次会面。在这次会议上，他们随意演唱并录制了一批福音歌曲和山区乡村摇滚歌曲。这些内容中的一部分（包括17首歌）在1981年第一次公诸于众。又过了很多年，其他内容也被找到，一张新的专辑正式发布。2006年，一部音乐剧将他们的这次会议搬上了舞台。2010年，这部音乐剧首次在百老汇演出，获得三项托尼奖提名。本剧就是这部音乐剧的改编版——作为这次会议六十周年纪念的一项内容。四人当年在太阳唱片公司老板Sam Phillips的安排下会面时，恰逢民权运动最鼎盛的时期。时局改变了他们对音乐的看法，他们开始尝试混合不同流派和类型的音乐。@天涯小筑
